In recognition of its distinguished record in the field of environment, NDC has recently been awarded the ISO 14001: 2004 Certificate for environment protection. The Company’s A/GM, Mr. Abdul Rahman Bamajbour, received the internationally acknowledged certificate from Mr. David Holden, Regional Manager of the American ABS Consulting; an internationally known quality control body. NDC division managers attended the meeting. Obtaining this certificate highlights the NDC’s firm belief in the importance of quality performance in the field of environment protection, and unwavering commitment to that goal as one of the Company’s strategic objectives. NDC’s efforts on environmental preservation has always been highly appreciated by governmental bodies and departments, including oil and gas companies within the UAE and worldwide. NDC’s long history of distinguished HSE performance is the pride of the Company and its staff who has always adhered to the principles and procedures of safety and environment. The ISO 14000 series is a set of standard criteria, established by the Geneva-based International Organization of Standardization (ISO). It includes a set of Environmental Management Systems developed in 1996, and amended in 2004, aiming at developing and improving management systems in the field of environment, and ensuring that organizations respond positively to environmental requirements.
