National Drilling Company celebrated in November 30th the achievement of the onshore rig ND17 after 13 years of working in the field of drilling without any time lost incidents. This number of years is equal to approximately 5 Million hours of work. The celebration attended by Mr. Abdul Rahman Bamajboor Al Sayari / NDC Acting General Manager, Mr. Abdul Munim Saif AL Kendi/ ADCO General Manager, besides NDC board members, Board Advisory committee members and Departments and Division Managers. This accomplishment is internationally classified due to the few number of rigs throughout the world due to the fact that the number of rigs which achieved this internationally remarkable performance has hardly exceeded 18 rigs after 10 years of work. This rig carries out the drilling works at Abu Dhabi Onshore Oil Operation Company (ADCO) sites. Since ND01 began its operations in 1973, National Drilling Company completed the drilling of more than 4,000 onshore and offshore wells with a total depth. Of more than 21.5 million ft. This exceeds the diameter of the globe of 20.9 Million ft. The rigs of the company have made other achievements without any lost time accidents as ND01 has already completed 10 years of operation in the offshore drilling in addition to the two offshore rigs, DINA and JUNANA which completed 7 years without any lost time accidents. All those achievements were the result of the company outstanding performance by its technical and administrative manpower, its distinctive leadership and great contribution to the enhancement of performance at all levels in the company.
