Offshore Drilling In September 2005, NDC added Rig Al-Hail,
one of the most heavily automated and
technologically advanced rigs in the region,
to its fleet. The new addition brought NDC's
offshore fleet total to 10 jack-up rigs and one
self-propelled jack-up barge. In response to
rising demand for its drilling, work over and
wellhead maintenance services.

Recently NDC announced the winner of the 2008 rig of the year as follow:
Offshore
Al-Hail is number 1
Beynouna is number 2
Onshore
ND-8 is number 1
ND-33 is number 2
The winners were selected fairly according to NDC and OPCOS agreed criteria. This contest has gained popularity and the competition was tough this year but the crew contributions for each rig remarked this excellent achievement.
It is a great success to NDC, congratulation to the winners and good luck for others next year.
